UPM, a leading research university in Malaysia is located in Serdang, next to Malaysia’s administrative capital city; Putrajaya. UPM is recognised by the independent government assessments as one of Malaysia’s leading research Universities. Founded in 1931 as the School of Agriculture, the University today combines impressive modern facilities and a dynamic approach to teaching and research with its proud heritage of quality services and achievements.

December was a month of international activities for the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya, one of which was a Physical Programme which wass held at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This activity was carried out for five effective days. The first day was held at Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM). The second day was focused on exploration activities at SISFEC (LowLand Dipterocarp Forest in Klang Valley). The third day was filled with UPM Tour.

Apart from academic activities, this Physical Programme was also filled with attractive activities for participants, such as visiting the Malay Heritage Museum, Forest Eco Park Kuala Lumpur, and the Putrajaya Tour. With this activity, it is hoped that international cooperation between Brawijaya University, especially the Faculty of Agriculture, and Universiti Putra Malaysia will run well.
